What's on the minds of community members and service providers? Are they feeling prepared for the legalization of recreational cannabis? What information and supports do they need?‎ A local study was done by the Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health Unit to learn about the attitudes, knowledge, and use and impacts of cannabis among local residents will be presented. Hear about the results of a national study undertaken by the CPHA among health and social service providers to learn what they know and are saying about cannabis and the supports needed. Engage in a discussion about the implications of this research and how conversations about cannabis can be normalized without promoting consumption.
